BIOGRAPHY
Carla dancing with 12 years old
Carla began her training at the Professional Conservatory of Dance in A Coruña (Spain) under artistic direction of Luciano Gómez. Between 1998 and 2000 participated at the National Dance Competitions of Zaragoza, Torrelavega & A Coruña and was awarded at all with the first awards in the child and youth category.
In 2001 finished her studies, graduated and obtained the Professional Certificate of Dance with Highly Honours. That same year, the Provincial Council of A Coruña (Spain), awarded a scholarship to continue her education with the teachers Carmen Roche & Victor Ullate in Madrid (Spain) and with Menia Martínez in Brussels (Belgium).
As professional dancer, she has toured many renowned national & international theatres and danced in the most dance festivals in the world as the Festival due Mondi in Spoleto (Italy), the International Festival of Dance in Granada & Oviedo (Spain), the Spoleto Festival in Charleston (USA), the Peralada festival in Girona (Spain), the Mozart Festival in A Coruña (Spain), the Festival Le temps d`Aimer la danse in Biarritz (France) and the International Book Fair in Guadalajara (México), among others.
Carla toured to various cities and theatres in the Europe, African and USA such as Liceu Opera House in Barcelona, Royal Theatre in Madrid, Calderón Theatre in Valladolid, New York City Center in New York City, Jones Hall in Houston, Detroit Opera House in Detroit, The Performing Arts Center Purchase College in Purchase (NY), Mahailia Jackson Theatre in Nueva Orleáns, Washington University Meany Hall in Seattle, Gaillard Auditorium in Charleston, Granada Theatre in Santa Bárbara, Ahmanson Theatre in Los Ángeles, Tulsa Performing Arts Center and Lorton Performance Center in Tulsa (Oklahoma).
In June 2013, Carla was invited by the Ágora Public Library (A Coruña, Spain) to perform, as a principal dancer, in the project Verbas que Danzan. Verbas que Danzan is a video creation with the word and movement as interrelated elements in the Library, which has in its architectural forms its first sign of identity. Video's mission is to serve the library's audiovisual presentation on social networks, forums and professional spaces.

2005 - 2006 ZÜRICH JUNIOR BALLET (Switzerland) under artistic direction of Heinz Spoerli as corps of ballet. That same year,
participated in various productions with the ZÜRICH BALLET.
2006 - 2008 VÍCTOR ULLATE BALLET (Spain) under artistic direction of Víctor Ullate as corps of ballet.
2008 - 2012 CORELLA BALLET (Spain) under artistic direction of Ángel Corella as corps of Ballet with soloist roles.
Since 2012 TULSA BALLET (United States of America) under artistic direction of Marcello Angelini as corps of ballet with soloist roles.
